Free event in Huntingdon!

Postby Claire » Sat Sep 03, 2011 1:32 pm

If anyone's around tomorrow, please come along to the TicTastic fundraiser organised by Faye Linnell:

I'll be there and hope to see lots of folks there, if you can make it.

Will do, LittleClapham. I think Faye (the organiser) is planning an indoor event, as this one got rained off. Such a shame, as there were so many people there who'd worked so hard and given their time for it. I reckon the next one will be great though.

Sorry about your bunny.

Best wishes,
Claire

Anyone in Huntingdon for the Big Switch On of the Christmas lights this Sunday can go say hi to the lovely Faye, who will be hosting a Tourettes Action stall selling Christmas cards, running a raffle and helping to raise awareness.

For more info, see http://www.huntingdontown.gov.uk/Leisur ... h%20on.pdf

Thanks Faye!

Yay! I'll probably be able to go to this and meet her at last! I was thinking, if she is looking for an indoor venue (don't know what costs are...), what about Woodgreen animal shelter? I believe it is quite cheap compared to some venues and it is a nice place for kids as well. Also you never know, there might be a certain volunteer who might be able to arrange for some kids to feed the bunnies!

Thanks LC, I'll mention that to her, but I know that Faye has rearranged the TicTastic event for Friday 2nd December at Hartford Junior School, Mayfield Crescent, Huntingdon. It will start at 3.15pm and finish at about 5pm. There will be craft stalls, a children's raffle, children's competitions, face painting, bouncy castle and refreshments.

I'm really pleased that you can make it to the Big Switch On. Hope you enjoy the day.

Best wishes,
Claire
